Pay telephones still provide a valuable customer service, and are still required in many of our locations. Specifically the Healthcare Industry, where Public Telephone has chosen to specialize.

WE RECOGNIZE THE THREE AREAS THAT HOSPITALS STILL HAVE NEEDS:
1) THE NEED FOR PATIENTS FAMILIES AND FRIENDS TO HAVE COMMUNICATIONS.
Many hospitals ban or at least discourage the use of cell phones within the premises for fear of interference with delicate electronic equipment used on site. Havign a Public Telephone is a great solution for public communications needs as well as goverment requirements. Typically the lobby as well as the emergency department's usage is heaviest, but a payphone in the maternity department is also a phone that gets decent usage.

2) THE NEED FOR PROPER COVERAGE THROUGHOUT CAMPUS AND THE USE FOR A FACILITIES EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLANS.
Since our payphones are line powered, in the event of a power outage, a payphone can be used to secure vital communications.  In addition they are part of the Essential Service Network which provides for priority repair during outages.

3) "POLITICAL" NECESSITY.
We recognize the fact that many facilities simply need a pay telephone in an area that someone in management thinks there should be one. Our program not only will provide these payphones; we will not charge you for them. Unlike other payphone companies, we can eliminate or reduce the  "semi-public" fee to the location for low volume phones that are needed at a facility. In many cases with other providers these fees can range all the way up to $90 per month per payphone. With our program, many of these pay telephones can be FREE, while the lower volume payphones will be charged a drastically reduced rate.

WHAT ABOUT ADVERTISING?

This is an exciting new opportunity for the colleges and universities. We have created a program that gets you the payphones you need and can pay you a significant revenue share. Although this is not for everybody, if your locations qualify, it is a great way to leverage the payphone space you require.
